This site describes the work of The Chris “Handles” Franklin Foundation (the “Handles Foundation”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and the record of its founder, Chris “Handles” Franklin. Using it means you accept these terms.
This site has no shop, no cart, no ticketing and no checkout. It does not take payment of any kind. The foundation's camp and community events are free to attend. If any website, account or person asks you to pay for a place at the camp, it is not us.
Every fact, date and figure here is taken from a published source — the foundation's own website, the IRS Business Master File, Guinness World Records, or a named news report. Where sources disagree, that is said plainly rather than resolved in anyone's favour, and where nothing is published it is marked as such. If you believe something here is wrong, tell us and cite your source and it will be corrected.
Submitting the registration form is a request for a place, not a guarantee of one. Places are limited in number. Dates, venues and capacity can change, and a place can be withdrawn where behaviour or safety requires it. The foundation publishes no formal cancellation or refund policy — there is nothing to refund, because there is no fee.
Children attending the camp or a community event must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for confirming that the child is well enough to take part and for arranging drop-off and collection. Staff and volunteers act in good faith and cannot supervise a child outside the published hours of an event.
The foundation is a 501(c)(3) organisation, EIN 81-0800015, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donations are used for the foundation's charitable purposes at its discretion; a gift cannot be earmarked or reclaimed unless that is agreed in writing in advance. Never send money to any account claiming to be the foundation without confirming it by email first.
The Handles Foundation name and logo, and Chris Franklin's name, image and likeness, may not be used to advertise, endorse or imply association with any product, service, event or organisation without written permission. This applies to merchandise, fundraising appeals, event billing, thumbnails and AI-generated likenesses alike.
Chris Franklin is head coach of the Harlem Globetrotters, but the Handles Foundation is a separate organisation and this site is not operated by, endorsed by, or an official communication of the Harlem Globetrotters. Third-party names and marks appearing here belong to their owners and are shown only to identify supporters and events truthfully.
