This policy covers this website and any enquiry you send through it. Registration for the camp is handled on a Google Form and by the foundation directly; Google's own privacy policy applies to the form as well as this one.
Nothing, unless you contact us. There is no account, no cart and no checkout on this site.
If you send an enquiry we hold your name, contact details and the content of your message so that we can reply. We also keep basic aggregate analytics about which pages are visited.
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. A child must never register themselves. Any registration, question or request about a child must come from a parent or legal guardian.
Information a parent or guardian gives us about a child is used only to run the event that child is attending — to confirm a place, to know about a medical need or allergy, and to reach a responsible adult in an emergency. It is not used for marketing, it is not sold, it is not shared with sponsors, and it is not published.
Cameras are present at the camp and at community days, and photographs and video are used to show the foundation's work. Where a child may appear, that is done on this basis:
Parents and guardians are told at registration that photography may take place, and can say no. A child whose parent or guardian has opted out should not be photographed for publication.
No child is ever named. No child's name, school, age paired with a photograph, address or contact details are published on this site.
Removal on request, no reasons needed. A parent or guardian who wants a photograph taken down can email handlesfoundation@gmail.com and it will be removed from this site.
Photographs on this site were published by the foundation on its own website first. They are reproduced here on the same basis, and the same removal request applies.
Only to reply to you, to run the event you contacted us about, and to keep proper records of a charitable organisation. We do not sell personal information and we do not pass it to sponsors or supporters.
If you contact the foundation through Instagram, Facebook or X, that platform handles the message under its own privacy policy as well as this one, and we do not control what it collects.
A specific retention period is not published and should be confirmed. As a rule, registration information is kept for the season it relates to and enquiry correspondence for as long as it is live plus a reasonable period, then deleted.
Ask what we hold about you or about your child, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a photograph to be removed. Email handlesfoundation@gmail.com.
